…an incredible summer science experience for students entering 9th grade through 12th grade, as well as graduating seniors – a four-day day camp that engages students in real world conservation science. Students design their own investigations, work one-on-one with professional ecologists and biologists, carry out scientific research, and present findings to peers and professionals, all while enjoying and having fun in our local parks.
EYE Con, which stands for Experiencing Your Environment though Conservation, is facilitated by the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy and Pennsylvania State Parks at Jennings Environmental Education Center and Raccoon Creek State Park. Discover more about the content and research of the camp in The EYECon Experience, then check out the 2017 Camps page for the specifics on each camp. You can also check out pictures and presentation from Previous Camps. Like what you see? Registration is now open for the 2017 camps!
